Designed for medium to heavy-duty degreasing and defluxing applications
A vapour degreasing solvent cleaning blend with with low GWP and zero ODP – Excellent cleaning capacity and a very low environmental impact.
ProSolv®72 TDA is a blend of hydrofluoroether methyl nonafluorobutyl ether (C₄F₉OCH₃), ethyl nonafluorobutyl ether (C₄F₉OC₂H₅), trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (t-DCE) and isopropanol. This blend of solvents is azeotropic, with a consistent composition that is effective for medium-to- heavy-duty degreasing and defluxing applications.
ProSolv®72 TDA is a safe and effective replacement for CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, nPB, and other chlorinated solvents. It is designed to replace ozone-depleting and chlorinated solvents, as well as other solvent systems with less favourable health, safety, or environmental properties.
The high solvency, low surface tension, nonflammability and stability of ProSolv®72 TDA make it ideal for immersion and vapour degreasing applications.
The inclusion of isopropanol in ProSolv®72 TDA enhances the removal of ionic contaminants.
ProSolv®72 TDA is a direct replacement for 3M™ Novec™ 72DA engineered fluid
