Methylene chloride-based, highly stable vapour degreasing solvent cleaner
This formulation builds on 30 years of experience supplying a range of powerful and reliable vapour degreasing solvents to industries worldwide.
ProSolv® MC is a highly stabilised chlorinated solvent cleaner designed for use in both ‘open-top’ and closed vapour degreasing applications. This proprietary cleaner is based on Dichloromethane with the addition of alcohol and a unique stabiliser package.
ProSolv® MC is an alternative to toxic products based on n-PB (n-Propyl Bromide) and chlorinated solvents where a lower boiling point solvent is preferred. This solvent can also be used to replace Ozone Depleting cleaners.
The very high solvency power of ProSolv® MC makes it ideal for cleaning heavy greases, mineral oils and synthetic metalworking fluids and is compatible with a large variety of metals. The additional alcohol acts as a polar solvent and aids the cleaning of any ionic contamination or polar residues.
ProSolv® MC benefits from a unique stabiliser package that protects the solvent from acid breakdown which in turn protects the cleaning equipment and components being processed from rust/damage.

SHELF LIFE
Minimum 24 months.
Store in tightly closed original container in a well-ventilated place. Store at ambient temperatures and out of direct sunlight.
